Note the negative conversations in our heads
“I don’t like my weight!”
“I don’t like my thighs!”
“I don’t like my bum!”
“I don’t like my arms!”
“I wish I had your body!”
I am sure the list can go on for eternity if we really thought about it.
We all hate something or two about our bodies but we shouldn’t be so negative on ourselves. We see all our “flaws”, but they aren’t flaws! It is how our bodies are and we need to appreciate what we have because I am sure there is someone admiring something on you for themselves.
We are all guilty of this!
We work so hard with our fitness but we are still stuck in our minds and it will never be enough, it will never make us happy. Then we work harder and we hurt ourselves, which in turn will “set us back” and our minds are still where we started.
So, that being said, we need to turn reset our minds so that we can see the positives and shut down those negative voices in our heads.
Find some body positivity quotes that speak to you and put them around your workout area to remind yourself.
Remember to look at yourself as a whole not one small piece. Appreciate what your body can do NOW and the potential you can achieve.
